This is a nice solid brooch with great detail. I do not know what type of bird it depicts. It still has its original patina, it has not been polished; I leave that decision up to the buyer. It has the old "C" clasp closure which works well. The brooch measures 2 3/4"high x 2 1/2" wide, and is in very good condition, I could not find any flaws. One reference I found states that "Silver Made In Mexico" without the eagle mark (which this one does not have) was made pre-1948.

In keeping with the Ohio Sales Tax Law for Ohio customers: I am required to collect and report sales tax which is 6.75% . On any sales to dealers, you will need to provide me with an authentic signed exemption certificate along with your vendor's license number.

I try to ship next day, if possible, through the U.S. Postal Service.

REFUND POLICY:

All items are used and/or pre-owned so they will show normal wear. All attempts are made to fully describe every item, noting any flaws seen. I am always glad to answer any questions you might have prior to ordering; just email me at msannie@zoominternet.net

All items are carefully packaged against mishandling and/or damage, and sent by dependable U S Postal Service First Class Mail.

No returns accepted unless I have misrepresented the item or have not noted a major flaw. The item must be the same one sent at the time of purchase, and returned in the same condition as it was when shipped. All of my items have an invisible inventory number. Returns must be the same as sent: First Class Mail with a Delivery Confirmation Receipt. Do not alter the item in any way if you are returning it. All items are clean at the time of packaging; do not attempt to clean or polish it in any way.

If you have returned it correctly you will receive a refund of the purchase price less any other costs incurred, including shipping fees. There is no restocking fee.
