This is an incredible and very high quality hand-wrought and knotted art glass bead necklace that probably came from one of the premiere glass houses in Venice. The impressive technique is apparent in these Venetian art glass beads with gold and intricate glass threading technique on the center bead which is the size of a large gumball--about 3/4" across and each bead to the side of the central bead. The beads are generously sized and the colors have a fine brilliant color, especially the turquoise blue which rivals peacock glass. Some of the beads have metallic centers with applied bi-colored casings and others are tri-colored and contain gold mica. There are various sizes and shapes including some charming heart-shaped beads. The bead caps are consistent with Venetian findings. The clasp is of unusual quality with a metallic-colored peacock blue glass cabochon set into the clasp of approximately 3/4". The necklace measures approximately 22-1/2". There are some scuffs on the reverse of the clasp where someone apparently tried to test the clasp for gold. Refund Policy

We offer a "no quibble" return privilege. For your protection, we ship all domestic items exclusively through UPS. REQUIRED # 1: You must contact us within 48 hours of receipt of the merchandise via e-mail or telephone in order to receive proper return address so as not to delay credits for credit card payments. REQUIRED #2: The merchandise must be received by us in the same condition VIA UPS or FED EX INSURED within five (5) business days of notification at customer expense. If the amount of a return causes the adjusted total of the original order to be under $50, the standard $6.50 shipping charge (plus any upgraded shipping charges for expedited shipping requested by the customer) will be charged against the credit issued.
We cannot be responsible for delays in receipt of items caused by the shipper.
