Swoboda Unsigned Blackamoor Pin Brooch Semiprecious


Swoboda unsigned blackamoor pin brooch is one that I personally acquired from Nate Waxman, himself, in the late 1990s or early 2000s with a group of Swoboda pins which we used to carry, but they have been sold for many years. This is one I had put away for myself and have never worn. Culling it from my personal collection was not easy, but I simply cannot wear everything in spite of the fact that I always want to wear it all! LOL The blackamoor face tests as black tourmaline on my Gemlogis tester. This regal lady wears two genuine emerald earrings peridot, genuine pearls, turquoise and coral as well as garnet. Upon close inspection, I was surprised to find that this particular pin was unsigned. Also, on the back of the pin, an errant extra garnet was glued on the back. I tried to pull on it to see how strong the glue bond is and I cannot remove it. It doesn't affect the appearance of the front of the pin, so it is just an extra goodie for the lucky new owner of this beautiful blackamoor pin / brooch. It measures the standard 2-1/4 x 1-3/4" and has a safety closure. This is wonderful, unsigned Swoboda blackamoor pin / brooch that is encrusted with amazing semiprecious stones and pearls. The fetching blackamoor image will be a cherished piece of vintage costume jewelry that will definitely pass the heirloom test with its genuine stones! (Our #46243-Blackamoor)

Shipments with payment by personal check will be held until checks clear.

We will ship domestic orders over $25. free via USPS First Class. Domestic orders under $25. are charged $3. for USPS First Class. We ship immediately upon receipt of credit card approval, Paypal notification or receipt of money order. Orders with payment received before 12PM CST ship same business day. Orders received after 12PM CST ship the next business day. We can upgrade to UPS Ground, Overnight or Second or Third Day (where available), please inquire for pricing.

International shipments are shipped via United States Postal Service First Class with insurance through U-Pic or Email us for international shipping costs. Minimum for international orders of $25, excluding shipping.


Refund Policy

We offer a "no quibble" return privilege. We try very hard to be accommodating and we look forward to your continued good will; however, we must request your compliance with our return policy. REQUIRED # 1: You must contact us within 48 hours of receipt of the merchandise via e-mail or telephone in order to receive proper return address so as not to delay credits for credit card payments. REQUIRED #2: The merchandise must be received by us in the same condition VIA USPS, UPS or FED EX INSURED within five (5) business days of notification at customer expense. If the amount of a return causes the adjusted total of the original order to be zero, the actual shipping charge (plus any upgraded shipping charges for expedited shipping requested by the customer) will be charged against the credit issued.

We cannot be responsible for delays in receipt of items caused by the shipper. Reimbursements for receipt of damaged merchandise or lost packages may be delayed pending decisions on claims in accordance with the policies of the shipper. We reserve the right to refuse unauthorized returns not in accordance with our above policy. We are sorry, but we are unable, under any circumstance for any reason, to honor returns after thirty (30) days from receipt of merchandise.
