Very rare and hard to find in this condition, this gorgeous locket has a beautiful guilloche enamel cental focus in pale, mint green with a delicate rosebud that is offset by beautiful black enamel that is decorated like cutwork engraving. The locket measures approximately 1-1/8" round and opens from a hinge on the bottom like a pocket watch. The inside of the locket reveals two delightful pictures: one of a dapper gentleman in Forties fashion and the other an adorable dog! The pictures are set in with no frames or plastic, but we have not disturbed them to see if there is any maker's mark. The condition of this locket is admirable for its age and the back is shows no loss of its gold plating whatsoever. There is one slight surface scratch to the face at about 10 o'clock which you may be able to detect in the picture. There is also a bit of wear to the plating around the loop at the top of the locket from the rubbing of the chain which is probably normal but which we mention for the sake of full disclosure. The locket comes with a lovely 22" vintage chain that appears to be original to the locket and has a spring ring closure. The locket opens easily, closes well with a snap and stays shut without a problem. This is a delightfully charming vintage locket in wonderful condition with its original pictures and much-sought-after guilloche enamel decoration. A rare vintage find! Refund Policy

We offer a "no quibble" return privilege. For your protection, we ship all domestic items exclusively through UPS. REQUIRED # 1: You must contact us within 48 hours of receipt of the merchandise via e-mail or telephone in order to receive proper return address so as not to delay credits for credit card payments. REQUIRED #2: The merchandise must be received by us in the same condition VIA UPS or FED EX INSURED within five (5) business days of notification at customer expense. If the amount of a return causes the adjusted total of the original order to be under $50, the standard $6.50 shipping charge (plus any upgraded shipping charges for expedited shipping requested by the customer) will be charged against the credit issued.
