This striking set is unusual and delicate looking, with rhinestones and accents of green on a silver-colored background. The earrings are marked Carnegie. Hattie Carnegie was a well-known business woman during the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's, and her costume jewelry has become highly collectible. She was considered, among other things, to have impeccable taste and was a trend setter.
